The final leg of fashion weeks has come to a close. Past 4 weeks presented us with a plethora of fashion and design innovations in terms of looks and techniques set to dictate the future of fashion.

After the style marathons at New York, London, and Milan, fashion made its final stop at Paris this week. The neons and the animal prints that were found in excess supply at the former destinations, made their presence known on Parisian streets as well, with matching co-ords being de rigueur among the set.

Layering techniques were in ample, and so were certain boots – oversized, gathered, and thigh-high – so much so, that you could go sans pants in favour of them.

Denim is popular once again, with attached ‘jean-on-jean’ and ‘skirt-on-jean’ styles trending in various washes. White denim is also on the rise, with details such as mega cuffed hems and frayed edges casting an impact.

The garment of the moment though is the half blazer- layered over another piece in a contrasting colour or print (try spotting it in the gallery above).

Belt bags, fanny packs, bum bags- take your pick, because these are the styles to watch; hand-held clutches that play on the strap with bold lettering or twisting and knotting techniques are major; and lettered accessories, such as earrings and bracelets or handcuffs (à la Chanel) are hot in the jewelry category.
